Régis Gurtner (born 8 December 1986) is a French professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 2 side Amiens SC. He has played over 300 matches in the French professional leagues and has been with Amiens since 2015.
Gurtner was born in Saverne, France, and started playing football at the age of six at AS Rehthal, a local club.[1] He joined FCSR Haguenau in 2000[2] where he spent four years before moving to RC Strasbourg in 2004.[3] He made his debut for the Strasbourg reserve team in the Championnat de France amateur in 2005,[citation needed] and became the first-choice goalkeeper in 2007.[4]
