Taylor Swift is the debut album by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released in North America on October 24, 2006, and reissued multiple times in 2007–2008, by Big Machine Records. Inspired by her teenage outlook on life, the lyrics address themes of love, friendships, and insecurity.
