Left-align

Can we left-align this, pretty please? It looks really, really weird having something this small be center-aligned in the middle of the page, but it also kind of seems out of place at the bottom of pages. Nosleep break my slumber 09:27, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

I changed it completely (that's the advantage of standardizing this template), using the {{Navbox}}-template, because it is a navigation box. Of course it should be placed at the bottom of the page now. Is this better? --EdgeNavidad (talk) 14:26, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Maybe it should be made a slightly more general navbox for each GT edition, i.e. to include to the Teams & cyclists page and any other pages we decide to create? SeveroTC 17:31, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
That's a great idea!--EdgeNavidad (talk) 18:04, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

{{cb start}} and {{cb end}}

Maybe it's even better to use the {{cb start}} and {{cb end}} templates with this navigation box, so that it follows the cycling project layout. Unfortunately I am not so skilled with these templates, and it may take me some while before I want to do it, and before it's finished. If somebody else thinks it is a good idea, he/she is of course free to change it! --EdgeNavidad (talk) 10:18, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Teams and cyclists/Cyclists

Need this to work with both lists of "teams and cyclists" and "cyclists". For example, the template on 1903 Tour de France has a redirect to List of cyclists in the 1903 Tour de France and on the list itself it isn't bold. Frietjes can you help? BaldBoris 14:24, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

BaldBoris, this works now, let me know if you would like to change the syntax or functionality. Frietjes (talk) 15:03, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
@Frietjes: It works perfectly, thanks. BaldBoris 18:21, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
@BaldBoris and Frietjes: I changed the test to be in the template so a lot of articles don't have to call it with a special parameter. I don't like when several articles about the same subject must remember to call a navbox with the same parameters to get a consistent result. We already have that issue with stage numbers here. Let's not add to the synchronization requirements. PrimeHunter (talk) 21:42, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
@PrimeHunter: Yes, that's what I was thinking initially. Well, I better get undoing. BaldBoris 22:47, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

Prelude

@Frietjes and PrimeHunter: Can something be done to make this work with 1988 Tour de France, Prelude to Stage 11? Thanks, BaldBoris 02:38, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Done. PrimeHunter (talk) 02:54, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
