i'm working on a rewrite of Religion in Abkhazia in my userspace - user:Sawyer777/Religion in Abkhazia. there's not much there yet but i've got this big old list of sources so i'm thinking it will be pretty long, especially in comparison to its sister article Religion in South Ossetia. i thought you may want to follow its progress and if you'd like to work on it or have any ideas, feel free! ... sawyer * he/they * talk 01:18, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Regarding the history section, ideally it should be based on more and better sources than just Clogg. She's not a church historian after all. Hello @Alaexis, There was a request to link the "orphaned" article on IPMX (https://en.wikipedia.orghttps://bestencyclopedia.com/IPMX) to another Wiki article. This has now been done. The article on JPEG XS which mentioned IPMX is now linking to the IPMX article (https://en.wikipedia.orghttps://bestencyclopedia.com/JPEG_XS ). Also, I used the "find link tool" and the other 3 links suggested are for a different IPMX that does not relate to the Intenet Protocol Media Experience-IPMX, so they should not to be linked to this. I'm new and am having trouble trying to get the Wikipedia citation for Populate and Perish: Australian Women's fight for birth control, by Stefania Siedlecky and Diana Wyndham. Allen & Unwin, 1990.

Please help - I tried to follow the template but got it wrong. Also, the footnote is at the top of the page but it should be in the section where I added information about the early RHA organisations and the change of name from RHA to FPA in 1960.

Hi @Coleslorikeet, I assume you wanted to use it in the Racial Hygiene Association of New South Wales article, right? The only error was that you didn't populate the last2 field, I've fixed it.

The citation should be after the statement it supports and not in the very beginning of the article, you'll need to move it there. Alaexis_¿question? 12:17, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

The arbitration case Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Palestine-Israel articles 5 has now closed and the final decision is viewable at the link above. The following remedies have been enacted:

• All articles whose topic is strictly within the Arab-Israeli conflict topic area shall be extended confirmed protected by default, without requiring prior disruption on the article.
• AndreJustAndre, BilledMammal, Iskandar323, Levivich, Makeandtoss, Nableezy, Nishidani, and Selfstudier are indefinitely topic banned from the Palestine-Israel conflict, broadly construed. These restrictions may be appealed twelve months after the enactment of this remedy, and every twelve months thereafter.
• Zero0000 is warned for their behavior in the Palestine-Israel topic area, which falls short of the conduct expected of an administrator.
• Should the Arbitration Committee receive a complaint at WP:ARCA about AndreJustAndre, within 12 months of the conclusion of this case, AndreJustAndre may be banned from the English Wikipedia by motion.
• WP:Contentious topics/Arab–Israeli conflict#Word limits (discretionary) and WP:Contentious topics/Arab–Israeli conflict#Word limits (1,000 words) are both modified to add as a new second sentence to each: Citations and quotations (whether from sources, Wikipedia articles, Wikipedia discussions, or elsewhere) do not count toward the word limit.
• Any AE report is limited to a max of two parties: the party being reported, and the filer. If additional editors are to be reported, separate AE reports must be opened for each. AE admins may waive this rule if the particular issue warrants doing so.
• The community is encouraged to run a Request for Comment aimed at better addressing or preventing POV forks, after appropriate workshopping.
• The Committee recognizes that working at AE can be a thankless and demanding task, especially in the busy PIA topic area. We thus extend our appreciation to the many administrators who have volunteered their time to help out at AE.
• Editors are reminded that outside actors have a vested interest in this topic area, and might engage in behaviors such as doxxing in an attempt to influence content and editors. The digital security resources page contains information that may help.
• Within this topic area, the balanced editing restriction is added as one of the sanctions that may be imposed by an individual administrator or rough consensus of admins at AE.

• If a sockpuppet investigations clerk or member of the CheckUser team feels that third-party input is not helpful at an investigation, they are encouraged to use their existing authority to ask users to stop posting to that investigation or to SPI as a whole. In addition to clerks and members of the CheckUser team, patrolling administrators may remove or collapse contributions that impede the efficient resolution of investigations without warning.

@Jabiyan, as you can see when you click on the red link, someone tried to repeatedly create this page even though the subject didn't satisfy the notability criteria. I'm not sure that the draft in your sandbox is ready for the mainspace but if/when you think that it's ready you can simply write to User:Discospinster who protected the page or to WP:AN. Hi Alaexis, hope you're doing well. There's currently an ongoing debate over at the Sexual and gender-based violence in the October 7 Hamas-led attack on Israel about whether there was any sexual violence committed at all... because of course there is. I saw that this is a page you've made some good edits to in the past. I've put a message on the talk page supporting another user who gave an exhaustive argument detailing how the cited sources clearly do not deny that rape took place, and he was met with a very condescending response, followed by a counter-argument that was not responded to. Would you be interested in showing your support for this guy and his argument over on the talk page? The fact that Wikipedia has been reduced to this kind of rape denial is sad and pathetic and I think it's our obligation to do something about it. Cheers and thank you for the good work that you do. I am a current college student working on my masters degree in Computer Science who is also a collegian football QB who has been playing football for 18 years and I'm only 22. However when I look for information it's most of it isn't true. Example it might have me going to my old college but my age might say 32 when I'm 22.
