Kuh Yakhab Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوه يخاب) is in Dastgerdan District of Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Tappeh Taq.
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Yazd province) was 2,764 in 688 households. There were 1,966 inhabitants in 533 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,049 in 598 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province and become a part of South Khorasan province. The most populous of its 100 villages was Tappeh Taq, with 439 people.
